Alexa Chung Has Been Replaced As The Face Of Superga
Like her style or not, it’s hard not to have an opinion about Rita Ora‘s look and that’s partly what makes her so interesting, especially amongst a sea of new celebrities whose style doesn’t bare commenting on. So it was only a matter of time before a brand snapped her up and Superga has been the one to do it.
Last week it confirmed that Ora will replace Alexa Chung as the brand’s face, with her first campaign as the new spokesperson set for release in March. According to the label, the decision to replace Chung came as a result of her being unable to fulfill her role due to TV commitments in the U.S. but is reportedly ‘happy that the brand will continue with such a talented new signing.’
And the move makes sense. I can actually imagine Rita wearing the sneakers outside of this gig and besides, as much as I’m a sucker for the Chung charm, a break away from seeing her face just about everywhere, isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
