Clémence Poésy And Chloé Love In Round Two
Actress and everyone’s favourite French style star Clémence Poésy has just been announced as the new face of Chloé’s new fragrance.
As any Chloé fan will know though, this isn’t the first time the Harry Potter star has lent her face to the brand. Cast your mind back to the label’s fragrance ads back in 2008 and 2010 and you’ll remember that she starred along with a host of other Chloé regulars like Chloë Sevigny and Anja Rubik.
“I am very proud and honoured to represent Chloé fragrance again,” Poésy said in a statement. “When Chloé approached me, I immediately accepted. It was so evident for me to come back to a brand that I feel so connected to,” and it’s true. Poésy’s effortlessly Parisian, youthful style is bang in line with everything that Chloé stands for.
It’s part of the reason why Chloé’s campaigns continue to be so strong. Where other brands tend to oscillate from one aesthetic to another as far as their imagery is concerned, Chloé campaigns always feel like a continuation and development of the last, delving you even deeper into its world and the casting has always played a huge part in creating that.
The campaign won’t be released until January 2015 so there’s still quite a long wait but with all of the expansion plans and resources being pumped Chloé right now, I’m sure the fragrance itself will be well worth the wait.
