H&M Partner With Tennis Ace Tomas Berdych On A Collection
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock, Anna Wintour is influential, so much so that it looks like her love of tennis is starting to resonate in the fashion world. The first company really taking note is H&M.
Earlier on this week the high street retailer confirmed that it has just signed a long-term partnership with Czech-born tennis player Tomas Berdych. The 27 year-old, who is currently ranked 6th in the world, will act as an ambassador of the company both on and off the court and is the midst of designing a tennis collection for it, which is set to hit stores later this year.
I can’t say I’m surprised. Last year H&M showed early signs that sports is a real focus, launching a sportswear range during the Olympics and announce a capsule collection of cycling gear with Brick Lane bikes.
